We are committed to protecting both our clients and the rights of their consumers. Our state-of-the-art technology helps us to protect consumers’ privacy by employing encryption and requiring a user ID and password in order to gain access to sensitive data, and our Compliance Department works diligently to ensure RMB standards remain consistent with all State and Federal regulations.

Some of our Compliance team’s other responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and responding to incoming correspondence
  • Consumer disputes and requests for validation
  • Complaint management
  • Client and vendor contracts
  • Monitoring information reported to credit bureau reporting agencies
  • Maintaining licenses and bonds
  • Overseeing quality assurance audits and staff training

RMB is a proud member of The American Collectors Association, and that membership provides us with unlimited access to seminars and other educational tools covering all aspects of collections. Our collectors are required to successfully complete courses and pass exams on telephone collection techniques and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in order to earn ACA certification. Additionally, everyone at RMB receives continuous training to keep current with regulations and provide the best possible service to our consumers and clients.

We take compliance seriously and conduct business in accordance with the Code of Ethics published by ACA International. Should an issue arise, our account representatives and management team make every effort to immediately resolve it. If immediate resolution isn’t possible, we provide our consumers with information about the steps that will be taken to resolve the account, as well as a realistic timeline of when each step will be completed.
